George Brandes was known as an eccentric Coeurd' Alene, Idaho mathematician who lived in an apartment on the corner of 12th & Sherman.
We talked several hours on many occasions about his Hyperspatial Mathematics. He was in declining health and upon his death I met with his attorney in hopes of retrieving his Magnum Opus which promised to radically change the world for the better. The once cluttered apartment was now completely empty and his attorney denied knowledge of any such manuscripts.
Shortly thereafter, the apartment complex burned to the ground.
